Multipurpose super-maneuverability Su-35 it is intended for destruction of aerial targets (in the free space and against the background the earth), and also ground and above-water targets with the application of the controlled and unguided types of the air facilities of defeat.

On Su-35 the new modification of the engine is established AL -31[f] with the increased thrust on the afterburner to 14 500 kg.

Aircraft is equipped with the most contemporary complex of onboard equipment ([KBO]), based on the latest achievements of Russian science.

On the aircraft the integrated system for control, which simultaneously fulfills the functions of the immediately several systems, is established:

– the system of remote control ([SDU]);

– the system of automatic control (SAU);

– the system of limiting signals (SOS);

– the system of air signals ([SVS]);

– control system of braking landing gear wheels ([SUTK]).

Su-35 it is equipped with the information-control system, which ensures interaction between the crew and the systems of the complex of onboard equipment. Earlier than this system on the aircraft of model “sou” was not.

New locator with the phased antenna array, equipped is established on the aircraft the 2nd exponential by the hydraulic drive, with the aid of which it will be possible to simultaneously attack to 8 aerial targets. In this case to 30 aerial targets it is mastered in the regime of detection and tracking.

On the aircraft are established also other new systems and complexes, which exceed the analogs existing until today according to their characteristics: the complex of connection, the system of radio-electronic opposition, the complex of sighting and navigation equipment, the helmet system of aim designation, optico- locating station and so forth.

Maximum combat load Su-35 — to 8 tons with the use of new types of the air facilities of the defeat of class “air-to-air” and “air-surface”.

On the aircraft Su-35 measures for reduction in the radar distinctness will be used.
