Any one know the plight of an Ex Alitalia Caravelle stored/abandoned on the Greek mainland of Thessalonika Makedonia airport. I know of the history of the Caravelle and how it ended up at the airport but just wondered if there were any restoration plans in the pipeline or it is destined to rot in the Aegean sunshine ? ………….on the subject of rotting Caravelles, this one serves as part of a nightclub in western France. I’ve not been into the nightclub to see if the rest of it exists on the other side of the wall!
