Does anyone know the current location or status of the Baroudeur, I have come across the following photo on Flickr which seems to indicate some restoration work but I have no idea of when or where.
Thanks.

What, the plane or the trolley?

I confess I never knew anything of this jet at all. But having now looked at a few images online I have to see shes a thing of beauty.
IIRC it was one of the French entrants in the NATO lightweight ground attack fighter competition in the mid fifties which was won by the Fiat G.91.

I notice the chain hanging, looks like there might still be a Euro in there unless it has been removed through precision engineering.

Oh yes it is. It’s the common or garden LeClerc shopping trolley. I should know. I used one this morning!

…. And not just any old shopping trolley. Its the GLSi model with optional gold trim and low profile tyres.

Glad to see that we’re not the only ones to borrow supermarket trolleys…

Yes, it’s undergoing conservation. There are probably open days, but this area isn’t generally accessible to the public.

Thanks, that was quick! Can I assume it is undergoing restoration but isn’t accessible to the public at present?

It’s in the workshops at Dugny on the opposite side of the airfield from the Le Bourget museum.
Here’s a photo from October 2011:
