For all Canberra enthusiasts, I hear that a 1/72 scale die-cast model will be on the market this August (or so). This is to be a representation of a 10Sqn B.2 in “Suez” scheme – the serial will be WH640.
This is a good thing – yes? 😀
To remind you of how colourful these Suez Canberras could look, the pic shows 10Sqn’s WD935 when “preserved” at St Athan several years back.
(Unfortunately I don’t know who took the pic so I can’t credit them).

Neil
I have seen a picture of this model and it appears to have black and white stripes.
This is not a problem as there were a few Suez Canberras with B&W stipes – seems one squadron ran out of yellow paint! And that’s not a wind-up either.

Corgi are also doing a Hunter F-58 Patrouille Suisse, South African AF Buccaneer, Israeli Mossie and P-51D.

Hah! If they won’t do a B(I)8 they sure won’t do a T.22!
They’re only doing the classic B.2 shape – which includes the USAF B-57A – although they will do a solid nose example to represent the T.4.
Still a good thing though. 😀

Well perhaps if the manufacturers concerned know how to make Buccaneers we could have a T22 🙂

So I believe Mark, a FRADU example too! 😀

Hopefully this will produce a follow-on TT.18 model too 🙂
