The old Air Scotland c/s looked far nicer, without the advertising for Greece Airways on the back.

it cant be that goood then it might have something to do with if they didnt let it dry enough or didnt put enough paint on….usually 5 coats i think (or so i read)

Not sure if it’s paint or a decal ? It was done at Bournemouth.

Summer season sees lot’s of new traffic at GLA, including this newly leased 757 of Greece Airways, operating for Air Scotland. The new paint job is flaking away dramatically from the tail already. It’s only been in Air Scotland service less than a week ! 😮

Great photos Britannia! Yay summer season = lots of new airlines at STN! Today I got to see my first Iberworld at STN (EC-IMU) and tomorrow will be the first Cyprus Airways A330 flight (upgraded from A320) 😀

Yep there are parking spaces, although the club is under new management, so I’m not sure if you’ll be allowed in? I’ll ask tomorrow, I’ve got a flying lesson so as soon as I know I’ll tell you, but yes there are parking spaces. If you go to Ashton Aviation (next door to Samson) there are plenty of people up there and spaces, I’m generally there with my mate Daniel. The fella who owns the place is dead nice, he gave is a free cup of tea!
