Sunday Sunshine At Manchester

Well, the sun was shining this morning. 😀

Shortly after taking this picture, I was moved on for the first time at MAN in over 25 years. Apparently I was “upsetting the crew”.

Hi Grey. AA have been trying to get the airport to put up a “solid” wall there for years!. They are very sensitive about security as you can imagine. The next time I see a photographer there I’ll give you a Moon!!!! :dev2:

Upsetting the crew? It’s such a shame people think in this way when all someone is doing is simply taking photographs. Very, very sad you were moved on Lance, especially after 25 years!

Great shots nonetheless, I REALLY hope this doesn’t become a regular occurrence. It’s so frustrating that people’s perfectly innocent hobbies are looked on in such a way. Sad, that’s all I can say.

Thanks for the photos Lance.

I took the offending picture from the fence beyond the Eastern end of T3 – standing on the pavement by a public road within 20 metres of a bus stop. Oh well……

Thats where I thought it was taken, remember myself and Steve stopping off there for a quick look before we joined you lot on level 13 in August :).

If they ask you nicely, you say something nice back and walk off. If they ask rudely, give them a doggy look, and strut off.

It’s what I do, anyway…

The septics are so sensitive. They really need to get a life! If it were me I’d have bought you a coffee down the stairs. How do you take it?

Fantastic shots Grey! Whenever I drive past the spot in T3 I always think how I should get out one day and take the odd photo, I’ll think again from now on…

Was it somethng you said … ? 😀

Maybe the sight of a fat Manc with a woolly hat was too much for their delicate sensibilities, Allen. 😀

Where was that pic taken from Lance? 🙂

The Qatar A332’s livery looks simply brilliant! 🙂 Then I would have to say that the Virgin Atlantic 744 looks great in VS colours but then again, I think any jet would look good in that particular livery.

You dont have to be on a flight to take a photo from that location, its about a 5 minute walk away from the terminal.

Hmm, I thought that was Terminal 2.
