Hi.
This is post no 2 for me… and wanted to introduce myself to the forum. My name is Anthony and I am a keen airline photographer. I confess to tweeking my work with Photoshop, but I dont think it matters if end results are ok!!??
I have a website too… which I have updated today (22 July) – which will again see an update in the next few weeks! I have many more pics to put on the site.
Anyhow… here are some pics for you to enjoy!!

Hi A330Crazy…
I use a Canon EOS 300D, SIGMA 28-300 lens and Photoshop 7.1 lol
Love the blue sky… there will be lots more props on my website soon. I will post a message here when the update is complete – so long as that doesn’t break and forum rules!!!

Nice shots there mate… really nice. 🙂 The Air Southwest shot is especially nice. Clear blue sky – what more do you need. 😀
Out of interest what equipment are you using?
Also Welcome to the forums too.

Yeah its best to park in the long stay car park and you will see where the runway is and picnic area

Thanks for that BHXlocal… so you suggest going to the long term car park?? Should I park there or just head towards it? I will check the direction of the wind before I leave … lol! Grey Area – looks like walking to Southside is out of the question! Is there a place to park there, coz if I need to hire a car for the day, I would rather not have it towed away or clamped!! Thanks 🙂

Grey Area – I am hoping to get to Southside soon for the TCX B757-300 and BY B767-200. Any way of getting there without a car?
Not unless you fancy a 5 or 6 mile walk…… 😉

Might not be disgusting anymore though ;).

That Islandsflug 737-400 does ‘naugh get around. This is the one which flew myself an A330Crazy to Dublin in February in 2004 for Ryanair. Disgusting interior.

It all depends on which runway they are using. If they are using Rwy 33, you can get good inbound shots a bit further down from the picnic area in the long stay car park, especially in the morning when the sun is shining on the right side of the aircraft.
You can get good shots when they are taxying to the runway.
Its completly different when they use Rwy 15, this makes it more difficult to capture. You can get departing shots but it depends on what camera you have and the light etc.
Hope this helps! 😀

Thanks guys for the nice comments!
I am planning trips to BHX and MAN. I will drive to BHX some time this month on a mission to ‘can’ a few flyBe B737-300’s! BHXlocal – can you get good ‘inbound’ shots from the spectators area? Where’s the best spot for you? Grey Area – I am hoping to get to Southside soon for the TCX B757-300 and BY B767-200. Any way of getting there without a car? I will have to fly up from LON for that visit!! LOL
Thanks!

Brilliant shots, love the BY, WOW and BE especially :). Looks like BRS has been unlucky like NCL in getting the XLA 734s!
I think just about every photographer on here uses photoshop on there shots, so nothing to worry about there.
And welcome :).
