hey all!
returned to heathrow just over a week after being processed through it as a passenger, to actually take photos this time!
met up with fellow photographer Adam Dowley, then preceded to walk around the streets behind myrtle avenue in order to find the petrol station that is an ideal site for climbout shots.
afterwards, we headed straight to 09L for landing aircraft…..there were many many people in the field, which i had never seen before.
all in all, a great day, the best heathrow visit i have had for a while. finallgy got home at approximately 2AM, courtesy of south west trains, only to wake up 11 hours later to be welcomed by a major editing session. tip for photography in hot weather in the middle of nowhere: TAKE WATER!!!! and lots of it!

Hey Sam, brilliant photos, i espexially love the second from last 340 shot, you’re improving all the time and your editing is spot on. When i get back i’d like u to run through your editing workflow with me because im starting to get a little annoyed with my one now. You use Adobe photoshop right? Spk to ya later. Ad:D

according to what Mr. Dowley was telling me, it was operating on behalf of british airways on some domestic routes….from what ive been reading, its been all over in recent days. thanks for the comments guys!
