Finally beginning to catch up with myself. I arrived home from Dublin yesterday after completing a magazine article on Aer Lingus, and so before I get round to posting those shots I thought that I should catch up on a couple of sunny mornings at Stansted in the last month. Here’s a few of the best results…

And that’s about it for now! I’m still waiting to catch the new AA 767-300 service, but seeing as I’ve been running their business lounge it is a little difficult. I’ll get it one day soon, especially once the twice daily service comes starts in March.
Cheers for now…

I’m afraid not at all really. The walk would require about a 10 minute stretch along a busy dual carriageway with no pavement! All together it’s about an hour walk from the terminal, as they’re taken at the RWY05 end which is the complete opposite end to the terminal.
Cheers anyway, I would do a trip report for the flights but I dont want to waste peoples time reading such boring trips.
Prestwick is nice now, which surpried me.

Many thanks………at the 23 end is there some PROPER public footpath that runs the terminal side of the approach?
Your pics looked so like 23 but I know the 05 spots

I have 4 hours to kill on Tuesday, are the pics taken within an easy walk of the airport?

Are these taken from the end of the lane by the approach lights (by Elsenham Foods if they’re still there)?
No, that lane is for the RWY23 arrivals (but yes, it’s all still there!). These were taken from the RWY05 end, along the old A120 towards Takeley.
