Sunshine! Yes! SUNSHINE! At MAN! 17-12-08

Well would you believe it? Myself, Mr BT777 and Mr B77W wandered to MAN today and a mysterious ball of burning gas was sat in the sky pretty much all day!

Anyway, some photos… All taken with a Canon 30D and EF 100-400L IS that’s kindly on permanant loan to me from fellow LBAviation photographer Steve Grace. I have to say, I’m extremely impressed by it as well. While I do miss not having less than 100mm at the wide end, having 400mm is fantastic. And, of course, the image quality is superb. I just have to learn how to use it now!

Thankyou again, all!

A quick addition… An EK A380 flew right over us in perfect clear skies and it was the one and only time I’ve ever seen the A380 in the air, so here it is!

I like the two A319 shots the best.

Why does the sun only shine when I’m in work? 🙁

Amazing what you can do with photoshop nowadays 😉

Shhhhh…. People arn’t supposed to know about my special version of PS and its ‘auto sunshine’ feature. I told the Adobe guys I wouldn’t tell anyone about it!

Thankyou for your kind comments, all. 🙂

Paul,
god I miss living near an airport that actually operates aircraft;)

Does Plymouth count? 😉

Paul, great selection of photos, can’t really pick a favourite as they are all brilliant.

Great to see you having a productive day – Keep Smiling 🙂

Adam

PS – Enjoy those BMI A330’s whilst they last! Like all the good things, they’re going south!!
