Supermarine Scimitar canopy at auction.

I had one of these ( originally sold as F86)  and after a lot of digging around found out it was a Scimitar canopy. It went to Solent Sky.

So glad to hear it is being used.

I have had several parts over the years that are either now in the air or in a museum glad there is another.

It has been improved in many parts so far.

It was originally down as Lightning only . I suggested Scimitar and they have added it – glad that they do listen.

There were LOADS of these at Flowers Yard in Chippenham just before it closed; I remember putting somebody right at the time who said they were ex-Sabre so it’s a shame that myth seems to have persisted. I suspect this is a Chippenham example too. There was a Scimitar cockpit there too: don’t know if it survived, though it deserved to.
