I was told….

I think there may have been a few ME 109E’s as probables… but did not want to mention those…. as perhaps they were confused and they may have been Jap Tony’s instead… since they look alike, kinda sorta…

The port side of the aircraft had a whole long line of bombs, a freighter and 10 rising sun flags painted on it…

That is about all I can say…. Anyway, that is what my escort told me…

That’s my story and I am sticking to it….

But, if you want the real story…. you can ck out this link…

(I guess the other gunners besides the top turret got the other 5 Japs… )

Ah! So good to see the USAAF was stringent with its vetting of combat claims.

Were they absolutely sure they were all Japanese?

Elliington, 909’s nose interior

909’s nose section, really nice job on the restoration. It has lots and lots of original gear in it… radios, electronics, oxygen systems, ammo boxes, etc.

Watch Auto Week for an article on the most vehicles built by Ford… guess what it is….

clue: it has more horsepower and more .50 cals than a Mustang…
(either the Ford or the P51)…

This baby was made at Willow Run, Michigan…
