Supporting evidence

Whilst searching the National Archive database I came across this entry.

OVERSEAS: China (Code 0 (J)): Hotspur and Horsa Gliders: supply of blue prints and rights to build to Chinese Air Attache.

It got me thinking, if the Chinese built Horsa gliders they’d need aircraft to tow them, what better than the Short Stirling. :diablo:

I wonder if they still have the glider blue prints?
