Hi All,
Thanks to all the folks at the Friends of TFC for the Xmas pressie of a DVD that came with the latest issue of the ‘Fighter Log’.
I have just finished watching the DVD, but I am a little surprised that I am the first one to make mention of it on here.
The DVD is great and gives an excellent glimpse into the enormous amount of time and effort that goes on behind the scenes all year around to restore and then maintain the aircraft fleet at the Fighter Collection.
The amount of work going into the P-47 restoration that will never be seen by 95% of the people who see her is pretty staggering.
What is the reaction from the other ‘Friends’ who must frequent this forum, has anyone else watched it yet ?

Yes a very nice little touch from FoTFC ,that came with the latest ‘Fighter Log’ it was much appreciated. Has anyone else seen the TFC behind the scenes video’s ‘Wings and things’ and ‘The race against time’ ? They are very interesting too.

I enjoyed it very much and would love to see more, maybe a walkround of some of the other aircraft in the collection in any future DVD’s.
May I also add my best wishes for 2010 to all at The Fighter Collection and of course to my fellow FotFC members.

Yea great DVD and a nice little extra to find when the mag arrived. The “behind the scenes” stuff is always nice to see and makes membership feel more worthwhile.
