For me it is all down to talent. Ms Boyle has an extremely good voice, she may not look like the average pop star. but she can certainly hold a note. Mrs Cheryl Cole on the other hand, looks the part but in my humble opinion, cant sing for toffee!

I wouldn’t ask her to sing.

For me it is all down to talent. Ms Boyle has an extremely good voice, she may not look like the average pop star. but she can certainly hold a note. Mrs Cheryl Cole on the other hand, looks the part but in my humble opinion, cant sing for toffee!

All I can think these days when I hear Elvis mentioned is a certain episode of Father Ted! 😀

What really rambles me is how stupid people in todays society are about people’s looks. SuBo is a SINGER – a person which uses a voice to entertain, the faces and the looks are and SHOULD be left to fashion.

It really annoys me too that yes, she certainly is a talented woman and, as the same as most music artists I listen to, I don’t give a t*ss about their looks!

You need to learn to live with that. You’d be hard pressed to find any singer in the passed couple of decades that hasn’t had their looks groomed to better suit the tv. Pretty much everyone would much rather look at a pretty face on the tv in a music video than someone ‘less pretty’.

She will make it, her singing talent is good for 4 or 5 albums, then she can retire away from this lot.

It’s very much the typical condescending, snearing national media attitude from these schoolboys to be honest. They surround themselves with production teams who have similarly juvenile attitudes. In fact I’ve worked on some of those shows with those people and production teams I assumed to be my own age but appeared to have a mental age of 14-16, apologies to decent 14-16 year olds…

Good luck to Susan Boyle, the poor lady is going to need it and the sooner we get rid of Messrs Ross, Norton and Wright, the better.
