Swaping Aircraft?

I just can’t seem to keep up with it anymore. Aircraft going from one airline to another.

For instance, G-OOAD, an ex-Air 2000 A320 aircraft, now with Indian Airlines, as VT-EVR.

I’m trying to keep the aircraft reg number book that I have up to date, by checking off all the numbers, to see where the aircraft now are and who with, but its proving to be quite a hard task, and a long one too.

I would very much appreciate it if anyone on the Forum can tell me of any changes to a fleet, eg, brought buy another airline, stored etc. Or if anyone knows of any recent new additions to an airlines fleet.

Thanks in advance. 🙂

RE: Swaping Aircraft?

Especially aircraft on short-term lease are swapped frequently,
for this reason there are so many “white tube” aircraft with just some titles and tail painted in a corporate image.

Last summer I spotted and even flew a very funny Fokker F70 in full BMI paint, however with the BM logo on the tail removed and the BMI titles painted over with KLM Cityhopper.
The only logo’s still in place were the Rolls Royce and Fokker logo’s on the engine and tail airbrake.

TU-TAZ- Ex Air Afrique, was on a lease from Lufthansa, and is now back with them as D-AIDM.

RE: Swaping Aircraft?

I need to know wheather aircraft have been scrapped, been taken up with another airline, stored etc, but for most airlines, other than UK ones.

Cheers for that site though its a great help for the UK airlines. 🙂

RE: Swaping Aircraft?

Is there anything specific you want to know Andrew,

I have the same problem , keeping up with sales and leasing

I’ve just got the 2003 “Airlines for Europe” book and there’s a lot of aircraft been swapped about these last few months.

It’s bl**dy annoying trying to keep your log up to date
