I take it, that the 170’s that Crossair had on order wil now go to Swiss, and in the Swiss livery too?
When is the official launch date for the 170? Can’t wait to see one in a proper airline c/s. I’m just so dissapointed that I didn’t get to see one at Farnborough! đĄ

I have read somewhere that Swiss are due to be taking delivery of the EMB 170 in the summer and I think one of the first routes will be BHX, where it will replace the 145 on certain flights.

A330, yeah, course the 170 order has gone from Crosssair to Swiss… dunno when the official rollout is, but they’re due in service late this year.
The Swiss CAA (BAZL) has already allocated the registrations for both the 170’s and 195’s, and Swiss have also already alocated names (All Swiss Aircraft are named after Swiss Mountains, with the longhaul a/c named after those peaks higher than 4000 metres):

The biggest aircraft Embraer has on the cards at the moment is the 195. The biggest verion of the 170. I think its 757 sort of size?

The Legacy is a great corporate jet…its luxurious and very economical…thats why iy has over 100 orders alone from the US.

Ahh… what didn’t help me identify it was the fact that I only photographed the tail and didn’t even get it’s reg, so I couldn’t look it up.
I think a few hours over time might buy me one!
