Emirates – the only airline to fly the Airbus A380 trans-Tasman – has launched an A$88 promotional trans-Tasman fare.
While the fare does not include airport taxes, the Dubai-based global carrier does not charge fuel surcharges.
Emirates runs the A380 on the Auckland-Sydney route three times weekly – but that will change to daily from May 1 when the carrier takes delivery of another or the super-jumbo jets from the Toulousse factor.
The promotional fare is on sale between April 17 and 20, but valid for travel between May 1 and November 30.
