I cannot believe there has not been a thread on this wondeful bi-annual show held yesterday. So, I will take the liberty of thanking those who organised and contributed to a terrific day out.
Despite a huge crowd there were no problems getting in or out, a credit to the organised parking and helpful assistants.
If this had been a DX show there would have been several threads merged by now!
So well done Sywell, a first class show with bags of atmosphere and some very varied & interesting aircraft attending.

The ‘arrivals day’ on Saturday was actually a separate VAC event. The Proctor flew in and out again on the Saturday.
All very relaxed and no commentary. Smashing. 🙂
Er no it wasnt, It was The Sywell Jubilee Fly In organised by us that organise the Airshow the next day. Because we have display acts arriiving we have a fly in to give people something to see. Its an open house fly in with invites to all the A/C clubs such as VAC, Moth Club, Auster Club, Piper club etc.
So Actualy NOT a seperate VAC event at all, Just thought I would clarify that one 🙂

Thanks Denis – glad you enjoyed it – major credit to Blue Max as Airboss and we underlings just obey his commands ! 🙂 🙂
Meteor stole the show IMHO – what an arrival!

I thought it was strange that there wasn’t a thread on the show itself, there was this one about the arrivals day, http://forum.keypublishing.com/showthread.php?t=118808
Great pics, and some great aircraft there that you don’t seem to see elsewhere.
Did the Procter fly?
