Any idea where it’s going, abroad perhaps?
I hope not, but I’m sure we’ll find out in due course….

It is with great disapointment that we have to announce that the Real Aircraft Co Me 109 Buchon will now not be attending Sywell Airshow on the 24th September 2006 as it has ben sold. We were informed earlier to day by RAC and we would like to thank them for letting us know as soon as they were able to do so. We are not at liberty to discuuss the sale of the Buchon as that is a private matter between RAC and the new owner.
Please keep an eye on the website for details of a replacement item that hopefuly will be sourced in due coarse.

Arrrrgghh…. nothing ever goes entirely to plan in aviation.
Sadly the 109 will now not be joining us… cos they’ve flogged it…

For a small fee, I could help with a superior photographic position.
Actually no, I meant a large fee. A very large fee indeed.
A bag of werthers origionals and a sherbert dip ??

The crowdline is usually ok – however there is a raised viewing mound by the museum car park which elevates you slightly – you are further away from the display line though, so a large lens might be helpful.
Our official photographer (as recently humiliated, see local press for details :p )will have the choicest spots, mind! 🙂
I’m not a photografist but he might be able to post you some tips…

Johne Boy –
Have a look at a Hurricane u/c, then have a look at the Buchon’s…. the latter is a real handful in crosswind conditions and RAC are very careful with theirs – she will not fly if conditions are not acceptable, its that simple…..
Hopefully it wont be too windy at Sywell!

It turned up on the sunday but not the saturday – I was at the show on saturday and think I saw it fly over Brunty on sunday. Didn’t turn up on the saturday because of crosswinds at Sywell apparently, although according to someone that was there it was really calm
 crosswinds ?? the hurri XII made it :p
