Sywell Aviation Museum
Aerodrome 80th Anniversary Raffle
For 2008 the Museum is running a raffle throughout the year (with the draw at the Sywell Christmas Ball) in support of the new planned museum extension. 2 Nissen huts have already been dismantled by Museum staff and brought to the aerodrome from Derby. Planning permission has already been granted to add the two huts to our existing building and funds are needed for construction!
Tickets are £1 each and are available from the Museum and its members – thanks to our good friends on the aerodrome the prizes are:

An on looker also reported that the missile had been fired from somthing that ressembled a shopping trolley covered by a tent, “Its amazing what you can get at Tesco,s these days” he said.

Thats almost a fair point, however even I can fly a Skyranger! Plus you cant argue with £27per hour to bash the circuit, though i appreciate it might be difficult to find hard points under the wings and a propane powered .30 cal might look a bit odd… 🙂
Personally mine would have a USAF low viz aggressor scheme -now if only I could work out a way to fit the sidewinders….
