Congratulations. I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit during ther PFA Sywell Revival meeting. Talk about getting a gallon into a quart pot. Absolutely fascinating collection of relevant memorabilia.

Cheers,

We only have half a concrete bog roll…. maybe that’s our sticking point… Its like a gun emplacement for the peace loving pygmies of umboto gorge…

Thanks to all for your kind comments!

LOL! Could be Stuart – it seems everyone needs a concrete bog roll in their life ! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Twotter spot on, we didnt think we could cut the mustard with the big boys (our exhibition cost Β£50 vs the runner up which with HLF had six figures to play with!) but perhaps we can…:o

coming back to Sywell we were treated to a stonking Spit display by Peter Teichmann – simply a perfect evening!

Congratulations Ben,

It’s not the amount of money spent on it but the sheer dedication, enthusiasm and effort of volunteers that make the difference.

Displays where a lot of money has been spent are usually sterile
and cold.

Cheers

Congratulations to everyone involved and it’s good to see effort rewarded in what can sometimes be viewed as an intimidating environment – “the professional museum world!”

Have you gone down the Registration / Accreditation route or is that to follow?

Long may you continue to work within the system and not against it, well done!
