Flying and Photographing the RAF’s Fast Jets – 25th March 2013
A Talk by Richard Cooke
Already a well known photographer, aviation photography became an important part of Richard’s work when he started working with the Red Arrows and pioneered the first head-on, air-to air pictures of the team flying straight at the lens. Richard’s talk puts you in the cockpit with anecdotes behind some of the most amazing images you will ever see -including being fired AT by a Harrier! In 2004 Aviation Week held a centenary photographic competition for the best military aviation photography of all time. Richard won 1st and 2nd place.
