T-28 G-USAF

I was just looking at some of the more recent additions to the warbirdregistry.org, and found the civilian history of T-28C G-USAF. According to the entry the 28 came to England for Barry Walker in 1962. Is this true? Did the plane ever fly in the UK as G-USAF or was it stored during its entire stay?
