I don’t know if you’ve heard of “Open House”, an annual event in which buildings and landmarks normally closed to the public open their doors for viewing.
Open House 2004 is this weekend and apparently Terminal 5 at Heathrow is one of the landmarks that will open to the public for a day or two. I cannot make it myself but thought someone here might be interested. I’m not sure whether it’s a free event though.

Well in fact (according to that website) in the case of T5 it’s called “Open Site”. 😀
And “open all hours” once complete no doubt? I think they should include the Concorde at LHR as one of the “seldom seen inside by ordinary punters” exhibits. 😀

I thought it was called “Open Doors” a pedant writes?
