Ta Kali then & now

Just back from the family holiday in Malta, during which (of course) the Malta Aviation Museum featured. I’m sure there are lots of shots already on the forum of the museum (if not let me know), but whilst wondering about a scene seemed familiar from the well known wartime colour photo’s. Not an exact comparison but considering that it was taken from memory not too bad either. The section of peri track in question is now part of the island’s road system- as is the runway.
