Just so we don’t offend ‘Gateguard’ too much I am starting a tailplane thread. Here is my Su22 fin. I have some other pics of fins around, will dig them out later.

Yeah I believe one of the CO’s had flown ‘498, hence the spurious serial.
I have the cut out fuselage serial number in my office.

Shame about that very nice 92 Sqn Phantom, I assume it was the one on display at St Athan, in reality it was XV500 but for some reason dispalyed as XV498

Pity about the Phantom fin, that would have been real nice. My Su22 fin is not too heavy and a friend and I could manhandle it ourselves, still needed a very large trailer to fit it on though.

Only kidding OJ, sure the title will be just fine!
Nice pics, didn’t realise that people did collect fins.
Here’s the Phantom fin that I mentioned in the other thread, as I said it was a remove it straight away and I could have it deal, but I didn’t have the means to move it!

Yep, I realise the difference, just got caught up with all of the ‘tailplane’ talk on the Kinloss thread. Perhaps a nice mod will change the title for me.
Here’s two more, unfortunately not mine though.

I think you might have to start a seperate fin & rudder thread for that one Ozjag!:D
Nice item!
