Take the "Britishness Test"

I got 6, i’ve been away too long

Some pretty strange questions. Some I had to guess. I got 12 of 14. How’s anyone supposed to know number 2; the proportion of native-born English to Scots & Welsh?

Stupid questions. So much for being a “Britishness” test. It doesn’t even cover all the British nations or the correct number of national saints in question 5. There’s 5, NOT 4.

I got 6 right…and I’m a Yank and know nothing of British laws!! (Don’t know whihc ones I got right, tho….)

Interesting – and I’m fairly confident one of their answers is wrong or at least ambiguous.

They say the age of majority was lowered to 18 in 1969. Possibly that’s when the law or whatever was passed but a mate of mine was 18 on 31/12/69 but wasn’t an adult until the following day.

Britishness? I’m not British anymore I am English, out with the Union Flag & in the St.George X 🙂

I personally think it’s a load of Horlicks, who is paying the £35 per head to sit the test and what happens to those that fail. My own views are not printable on this forum.
