Taking Temporary Leave

I think for the good of everyone on these boards, myself included, that it would be best if I take some time away from the boards for a short time, until alphaOne is flying. There has been a lot of tension and ill feeling from some areas and more widely there has been a lot of very understandable frustration and annoyance about the subject of where the airline is at from others. I think rumour and speculation is not helping matters for any party and I for one feel that my presence is probably not helping; so I intend to take my leave until we are operational. This date is currently set for the 5th of September pending CAA approvals, a back up date of the 19th of September has also been set. However, obviously I can not give out details of the destinations etc. quite yet. We will endeavour to pass on this information to you as soon as our PR agency see fit. We expect to make the announcement in early to mid August. The good news is that all the red tape surrounding the investment has now been resolved.

Until that time I will bid you all a fond farewell. Keeping on smiling and I’ll speak to you all soon.
