Tankers on Carriers?

Dear all,
In the topic, ‘Best carrierborne MRF fighter for the 21st century’ by GeForce, Geforce came up with the idea of deploying the V-22 as a tanker on a carrier.
This I think is an excellent idea as this would increase the operational range of aircraft. Aircraft could stay on patrol for longer therefore not needing to come ‘back in’ for some more ‘juice’. This in turn means that the carrier can concentrate on deploying and organising strike aircraft.
What does everybody think of this, is it feasible?
