Target towing mechanism – 1920's – 1950's

I have a four bladed target winching prop similar to this one (photo stolen from woodenpropellor forum!) :

Here it is fitted on a RAAF Westand Wapiti :

Does anybody have any AP or information on the wind driven drogue target winching mechanism the prop was attached to ?
Thank you, Ed

Something akin to this. The prop arm could be swivelled 90 degrees. Face on to spin and edge on when stowed. Set up is similar for Lysander, Defiant, Henley etc.
