just in short time the prewar ancestor of famous Zlin trener line aircrafts from 1937 will be flying. Replica of Tatra T-101, that was designed by Zlin treners constructor Ing. Karel Tomáš, is almost finished… Tatra is not only great cars and trucks, trains, trams, etc. :-))

I agree that she would be a welcome visitor, would be nice to see something different. Congratulations on a brilliant job. I have to admit she’s a pretty machine, hopefully she flies as good as she looks.

Beautiful. Which engine are you using, is it a Walter Mikron II ?
‘It is equipped with original Tatra T–100 engine (p.n. 006, year of production 1938), on which capital repair was done with help of the TATRA Ltd and the National Technical Museum in Prague.’

Congratulations on that grand restoration.
I wonder why it was designed with such long undercarraige legs, giving it that high ground clearance and ‘cocked-up’ angle? That reduced forward visibility on the ground, so what benefit or reason for it?

Very nice – a lot more attractive than the Zlins we are familiar with.
Hope you are able to keep us informed of it’s progress.
