don’t know if this is the right forum?? maybe!
i’ve got a few tattoos on my arm one is below short sleeve level, do you think airlines would frown upon this…obviously i can cover this up at the interview but when i’m in the cockpit there will be times when it’s visible
from a passenger point of view i’d imangine that they may not like this (due to stereotypes) etc.
what do you think the airlines would think and also what would you think as a passenger?????
Cheers

Skypilot, that’s excellent just the news I’m looking for.
P.S. I don’t have the piercing anymore.
Cheers

The tattoo’s in question, the sun one you most likely won’t see in shirt sleeve.
I fly with a number of guys with tattoos, not a problem. Piercings are a problem, just because of the safety issues (not sure if that still applies to you?). Certainly cover them up for interview, rightly or wrongly it may give an impression you may not want to make. Once you’ve got the job, it won’t matter.

Danairboy…I agree you are fully entitled to your opinion but why can’t you just make a bit more effort to post in a less confrontational and immature manner? You have nothing to lose and only thing to gain.
Do you not think it slightly strange that you end your posts with an x?
