From Facebook 🙂
“TAVAS / Engels authentic reproduction Fokker E.III Eindecker, flew for the first time this afternoon. The CAMS rotary engine providing plenty of power and trouble free operation.
A huge thanks to all those who helped to make this possible.”

Errol, see if you can get some sort of two-for-one deal so I can join you?
Wonderful to see, and such an atmospheric photo as well. Well done to Achim, TAVAS, and the CAMS team – what a special machine this is. Bravo!

Great! I think it will be time for another airshow trip across the ditch next year.

Well done, I can certainly appreciate the work that goes into a project like that.
A friend is working on a Sopwith Pup…to be powered by an original rotary.
Should be flying next year in time for its centennial. I’m looking forward to seeing, and hearing it.

Very nice. And not that far off the 100th anniversary of the real thing!
