Taylor Monoplane

Can anyone help me with getting hold of some Taylor Monoplane 3-view drawings??

I’ve tried contacting Terry Taylor by e-mail but have had no response 🙁

:confused:Don’t know where you are looking! I was interested in the looong wing and thinking RE.8 but I am sure someone knows better?:)

Bubble canopy behind the Mono – looks a lot like a KR1 to me, but I’m probably wrong (it’s not a LAA-certified aircraft the last time I looked….)

Great pictures, Keith and particularly sad that the owner/builder Cecil Bush should have later died in his second Taylor Mono creation, G-CEKB shown in the previous post.

Oh dear ! I did not know that, thank you for the info ! I feel that maybe I should not have posted those photos ????

Keith.

The only out of the ordinary one I can offer is this shot of the fuselage of G-AYUS, seen at an Old Sarum fly-in many years back.

Started locally by policeman Dan Barker and sold before he completed it, it seems to have only amassed a few hours despite having passed through several owners. Anyone got a picture of it complete?

Must be the ugliest Taylor Mono i have ever seen!!!!!!!!!

Try Airliners.net and type Taylor Monoplane in the search engine and you will find loads of pics on there::)

Certainly will do!

Still going to do the VP-1, though. The Taylor is for something else…! 😉

I’m looking at a feasibility study for one of these little beasties! 😉

If you need an engine give me a call , I’ve ended up with 3 VW1834cc engines , 2 have Vertex mags fitted and all 3 have the twin spark heads done , I bought them and a load of spruce for £500 – and when my mate went to pick it all up with his wee lorry the chap also had a fire damaged Auster for sale VERY cheaply.
