Ive been told aware that a “restoration” on the 3rd TBM Avenger that was imported into Australia but has for a while sat on ground is now restarted recently and underway in southern QLD.
It is in a hangar with it been worked on back to flying status… with no time frame given.

Hi Stan,I saw one listed for sale on WIX not so long ago,it was a CAF aircraft partly restored but I believe it was complete,cheers,Pete

Haha Stan it would probably weigh the same as all your other aircraft put together! I’d love to see you turn up at a show with the Fox, Dragon AND an Avenger! I hope you have luck in fulfilling this need.
Daniel, it would be nice to know which aircraft, where etc. If you can’t post that info online then how can you post anything with the owner’s permission?

Has the Avenger falling out of favour with warbird operators?
There used to be two, possibly 3 in the UK alone.
Ray Hannah’s display in the Avenger was one of the best.
