TCX 12K – BFS-SFB Delayed Indefinitely

hey,

My sister and her husband are flying to sanford today from belfast. they have checked in at the airport but have been told the flight has been delayed indefinatly. the flight number is: TCX12K

Would indefinatly not mean it has been cancelled? they are being given very little information. I am wondering does anyone know whats up?

thanks for all your replies. They finally departed at 20:30. 7 hours 20 Minutes delayed.

They are now in Florida so better late than never.

I was in MAN on Tuesday and there was a TCX A330 delayed MAN-CUN, I checked flightstats later on and it showed itleft with a 5/6 hour delay.

It would appear TCX are having some tech problems with their A330’s.

Does anyone know how highly utilised they are this summer?

Looks like A330-200 OY-VKF arrived in EGAA from EGKK at 1849. Currently filed to depart to KSFB at 1945. 60 min turnaround for an A330 full of pax and fuel maybe a little optimistic though?

Indefinately does not mean cancelled, just probably means they are in for a long wait! The reason they are not been given much information, is probably because the ground staff don’t know anything, hence the reason they have to put ‘indefinately delayed’. 🙂
