Hi
Today I noticed something very unusual during my dinner break at University when I looked up and saw a TCX A320 heading East over towards Oldham on approach to Manchester. The unusual aspect was that it had its nose wheel down but main landing gear was UP! I have checked Airliners.net and it too confirms something happened today.
Does anybody have any more information as to what happened?
Thanks in advance!

LEE MAN8
If this was approx 1330, then i have a different take on it but possibly referring to the same aircraft as a TCX a320 came in earlier in the day on an emergency landing.
I was on my lunch and a TCX A320 took off approx 1330 but had a problem with its undercarriage which mean’t he had to return eventually landed on 24L about 1350 with the fire engines in to
Maybe it was the same aircraft having a bad day!!

A/c circled over CWL for about an hour to burn off fuel. CWL on full emergency status. Ended up going to MAN, sounds like everything was ok in the end, thankfully!

Exactly as posted on airliners.net.
