TCX takes wrong taxi way

Sorry about the photos. Today a TCX took the wrong taxi-way at NCL, things got a bit a messed up. The Islandflug that had just landed had to wait at the top end of the taxi-way for the TCX then they both had to wait for a MYT to land then the TCX could enter the runway backtrack and take off runway 25.

Well, you CAN externally distinguish a BAe 146 from an Avro RJ: The BAe has a little trapezoidal bumper under the tail, which was discarded on the ARJ.

AND Janske, I can assure you that SN also uses BAe 146. I flew in one some months ago.

SN Brussels send the A319, 146-200, and RJ85 to Newcastle, so they easily could have seen a 146 and not an RJ85. The 2 are indistinguishable from each other anyway, unless of course you can see the registrations.
Jeanske gets it wrong…again

More to the point, SN Brussels operate both types hence a/c seen could be either 146 or ARJ.

Sorry about my mistake Jeanske, although I still fail to see any major difference between the arj and the BAe146, thus I get the two mixed up often.

I bet you’re the sort who says “hey, look, here comes a Boeing DC-3” now that Seattle has bought out Long Beach! 😮

The same thing happened yesterday at NCL as well. 25 was in use, but the SN 146 and the flybe 146 took off from 07.

Why was the TCX 757 using r/w 25 for take-off when the Isl 737 and Myt 320 had both landed on r/w 07??

The tower said the TCX could use 25 insted of backtracking all the way back down the runway

Looks like Thomas Cook just doesn’t run as smooth as it did with WYSIWYG!
