Does anyone have any photographs of TD248 taken while she was at RAF Sealand that they could post please. I have fond memories of this Spitfire having passed her many times on the gate whilst going on holiday to North Wales.

On the Pylon
Here is a shot taken 25 August 1984.
It was still on the pylon until retrieved by Historic Flying in October 1988.

Happy days and nice photos. Was TD248 mounted on a pylon at some point while on Sealand gate?

She looks in much better shape in the1977 photo (apart from the fuselage roundel on steroids). I recall seeing her in a tent prior to this date which must have been put up around her for the re-paint.

Here is my first picture again. This was the aircraft that fired the Spitfire interest in me.
As I look to be about eight years old in the picture it would date it at around 1973.
