Ted Kennedy dies at 77

Massachusetts Sen. Edward Kennedy, the patriarch of the first family of Democratic politics, died late Tuesday at his home in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts, after a lengthy battle with brain cancer. He was 77.

Ted Kennedy crashed his car whilst drunk off Dike Bridge into the Poucha Pond inlet at Chappaquiddick and left the scene after saving himself and leaving 28 year old Mary Jo Kopechne to drown…he didn’t call the authorities ’till the next day after her body was found…yes he was a real class act alright

I was being polite about that but do agree, Always felt the whole family had a darker side.

Its an end of a era for the USA with his death.
It would be right to say he played a big part in politics in modern USA and that he was a colourful character with huge drive and passion, he also had that dark side of him and the kennedy’s bad luck problem that haunted them.

Certainly a interesting life and character though.
