Teesside Airport to be Renamed

Local news reports are suggesting that Teesside Airport is likely to re-name itself before the end of next month.

Apparently “Teesside” isn’t a good marketing name on the continent and the management are looking for something more appealing. The favoured new name at the moment is:

“Durham and Tees Valley Airport”.

Believe it or not, and if this happens, they’ll be uproar on Teesside, the name of:

“Newcastle South”

is also being considered though it is understood to be a controversial choice…lol
