Tempest II in the USA

Following is a post from Trade-a-plane

Hawker Tempest Monroe WA
HAWKER TEMPEST II. Beautiful project 90% complete. Very reluctant sale by owner. Call for details – serious buyers only. wa/(425) 330-8401; seattleaviation1@aol.com

Does anyone have any information about this Tempest II? Who owns it? Has to be an ex-Indian Air Force one, since the only UK Tempest II is with Kermit Weeks.

Monroe WA is in the Seattle area (in the US) where I live. The airport ( http://www.airnav.com/airport/W16 ) is a short 2100 ft one with large trees on one end. I go there to practice my short field landings. I knew there was a Helio Courier specialist on the field. Probably that is where the broker is and the airplane is somewhere in the Seattle area.

I guess it is the former New England Air Museum example.

Would this be the late Philipe Denis a/c? It was rumoured to be on its way to the US a couple of years ago!
