Tempest MW810

Hi there is a reference to Tempest MW810 at Bentwaters -I don’t think this has left the States -looks more like the ex RAF museum’s rear fuselage that was surplus from the TFC rebuild

Interesting ! So we need a positive location on the ex Ted Sinclair Tempest V cockpit and Indian II rear fuselage.

The cockpit section of MW810 was at Bentwaters undergoing restoration work with a private company who undertake warbird restoration work, it departed in April 2009. I know a couple of people who saw it and had its ID positively confirmed at the time.

It’s not ‘news’ -W&R 22 listed MW810 at Bentwaters -there is no evidence to suggest that the aircraft has left the U.S
