I have no details of the recovery but the aircraft was Tempest V NV648. The aircraft was on an armed reconnaissance when it suffered an engine failure and Flt/Lt Dashwood was forced to bail out to the south west of Constantine.
Information from Fighter Command losses 1944/1945.
