Tempest to fly any day now (Sywell, UK )

The Sywell Tempest is sitting on the edge of the nest and flapping its wings !   Taxi trials in the last few days  represent the first Tempest to move under its own power since perhaps 1953, when India retired them.

Good luck to all involved !

Hi All,

Prop Strike:- I just thought as some like myself cannot access the private discussion group I would post this link.

https://www.facebook.com/UltimateWarbirdFlights/videos  R-That’s a better link 🙂

Excellent progress news inching closer and closer to that final day when G-TEMPT will get the wind under wheels and fly again, you never know with the possibility of the 2nd Tempest MW758 being made airworthy we will see two magnificent beasts in the air over the UK again :- )

Geoff.
