Here are some from Tenerife South. It took me two days to find the famous mounds that have been built by AENA for the photographers. There is a double fence and I thought that beyond the first fence was out of bounds but you can drive in there and park right near the fence to south of runway. It’s an excellent airport for photos. Here is a small selection to start….

More to follow…

A few more from Tenerife South…

It’s hazy but the only side they printed the scheme on…
Mount Teide in the background…
The only Russian I got there. Missed about five others as they were all late !

Cheers for looking. Got loads more but possibly a bit overkill

great, I love TFS !
Cheers. Palma is the best charter airport in the world though (in my opinion). Wonderful airport – a spotting mecca.

The Luxair and JT my faves this bunch….I’ve stuck with A.net for my old b&w because it is the main site but it can get a bit sporty getting them on! I guess the screeners have to keep the brakes on or there’d be 20 million photos on there(possibly of one aircraft :))
I only have a few on a.net (some very old ones) but ever since I slagged them off for rejected one shot (I was most upset) they haven’t accepted one shot ! It’s either over-sharp, under-sharp, over-exposed, under-exposed, under-contrast, over-contrast etc. So basically they are telling me I don’t know how to take photos. Jetphotos are a bit more forgiving but even they can be pretty picky. I probably get 50% accepted on there.

Nice selection with good backgrounds. Looking at that Dreamliner scheme again on the Jetair. I just think they could have extended the dark blue in a curving pattern onto the tail. As the scheme stands the old untouched tail is out of place having that straight border. Have a word with that TUI mob.

Some great pics. I’ve never liked the Niki livery, I think its the housefly motif that’s always put me off it.
Yeah the housefly logo is a strange one. Anybody know the significance of it ?
The tail is a KitKat logo 🙂

I like the way you’ve used slimmer formats than 6×4…suits the aircraft….do you do Airliners.net?
Thanks. I use 16:9 aspect ratio so I can run slide shows on HD widescreen TV.
I also think the ratio is better for aircraft – not as much empty space.
I used a.net years ago but gave up. I post on Jetphotos. I haven’t got the time to spend 5 hours on each photo getting it to a.net ridiculous standards. The shots I post on here are reduced to about 20% and sharpened so they are not optimal quality.
Some more from sunny Tenerife…

Cheers for looking !

Well done!….nice find, that spot…do you know if there’s something similar at Las Palmas?
Thanks. Yes there are plenty of photo spots at Las Palmas. Another excellent airport for photos.
