Not sure if this has been mentioned before but this is a fascinating website. How brave and courageous were these guys.!

There are several instances on the whole of that web-site that indicate that these guys were either extremely brave (knowing the possible problems), or extremely dedicated (knowing the possible problems). But they went and did the bizz.
In any case they do (in my opinion) rank alongside the guys who were being shot at!

Could’nt agree more Resmoroh. I’ve always been fascinated by aviation, especially in the 1950’s, what an exciting and ground breaking period that was. But its a sad fact that so many of these guys lost there lives in helping to make aviation what it is today.
