TFC Gloster Gladiator II (for Dave Homewood)

I promised on another thread that I would post pictures of the Gladiator restoration to show how it is progressing. These were taken this afternoon. Apologies for the quality.

Thanks Woody, great photos. It is not quite as complete as I’d thought – my mistake was I saw a 1990’s article headed “Second Gladiator To Fly” with a photo next to it of a Gladiator doing an engine run. I made the assumption they were connected but on rechecking it, the photo showed Shuttleworth’s example, so I was tricked slightly.

Good to see the restoration looks fairly advanced though. Cheers.

Ah, one of my favorites. Its good to see that the restoration does make some progress. Another bristol mercury engined plane that could come alive.
