There’s a very good novel on the F-20 Tigershark
by Barrett Tillman called “Warriors”, written in 1990.

It tells about Saudi Arabian fighter pilots in Tigersharks
slugging it out with Israeli F-15s and F-16s, matching
them kill for kill. While obviously a work of fiction, the
fact that the author dedicated a whole book to this
little fighter must give some indication of its exceptional
dogfighting capabilities.
